The Recruiting Team
In the last blog posted, the routine of the prospects on game days was mentioned. No one really understands how important it is for the University of Mississippi to have a good recruiting team. It is up to the recruiters to convince potential prospects that the university is the best possible choice for them, and that it is the place that will help them further their potential future careers.
The football recruiting department of the University of Mississippi is headed by Branden Wenzel. He is in charge of overseeing all of the potential prospects who's information is sent in to the university. Wenzel aslo oversees the student workers who work with the athletics department as their work study. The student workers are in charge of logging in prospect game tapes onto the prospect website, double checking all of the prospect's information, and working with the prospects on game days when they come to visit.
The recruitment team here at the University of Mississippi is a central part to the football team. Without the recruitment team, the football team would cease to exist. There would be no bowl games and no competitive atmosphere that the fans enjoy so much. That is why it is important to support the recruiters and the football players during game days. By working as hard as they do, they are able to make game days at the university more enjoyable for everyone who comes to watch a good game of football.
